Which leads me to my question. My girlfriend always enjoys listening to my banjo practice and is often found talking about how nice it would be if she could play along with the banjo. I like the sound of the ukulele but I haven't seen it used alongside clawhammer banjo and don't know anything about it/how to play it. I was thinking perhaps someone here might have experience with it and might be able to give a few tips on how to use it as a simple backup to clawhammer songs. 2:)The issue of tunings. Standard ukulele tuning is gcea, I think. How would this work(or not) alongside the banjo which is constantly switching between tunings. What is a good strum for playing alongside old time clawhammer songs/ keeping time?
